At Daniel's apartment, Nicole's romantic feelings for Daniel begin to unfold. As she moves in for a kiss, Daniel stops her and tells her they are first friends, friends first. Daniel tells her he does not know where their relationship will go, but they need to take it slow. He will not be her rebound guy. Nicole understands, but she wants to make it perfectly clear to Daniel. She wil not be his rebound girl.
Later at Club TBD, Daniel runs into Melanie and she introduces Serena to him. Serena is quite taken by all the help he gave Eric. She knows from Eric they are best friends. Serena gets called away, but Daniel looks forward to working with her at the hospital.
