    Daniel runs into Eric at the park. He tells him that he has met Serena. He updates Eric that Serena is a friend of Melanie. Daniel invites Eric and Serena to dinner tonight. Eric accepts and will check with Serena. Later, Daniel runs into Serena at the hospital and invites her to the Dinner with Eric and Melanie. Serena accepts. 
     Later, at home, while Daniel is awaiting his dinner guests, Nicole shows up. She wants to clarify her earlier conversation with Daniel. What they have together is between them and she is not using Daniel to get over Eric. Daniel listens, but senses Nicole has something else in mind. She does. She kisses him.
