Nicole calls Daniel to tell him that 2 people are running after Melanie in the park. Daniel tells her not to call the police he will handle it. When he arrives at the park, he finds Brady tussling with the stalkers. Daniel tells everyone to stop. He knows why they are there and orders everyone to go back to his apartment to straighten things out.
At the apartment, the stalkers are from a casino that Melanie scammed by card counting at blackjack. Daniel wants to see the money. Melanie unloads her handbag with the stack of money. The casino people take back their money. Melanie starts to mouth off, but Daniel tells her to shut it unless she likes the thought of making license plates in jail for the next 10 years. The casino thugs take back the money and threaten to arrest Melanie. Nicole steps in and threatens the casino thugs with bad publicity. They back down and leave. Daniel hugs Melanie and is thankful she is safe.
Later, Daniel walks Nicole to the elevator. He thanks her for her help. They share a hug and Daniel smiles.
