At the park, Daniel has Nicole pinned to the ground. There is a sexual tension in the air and Nicole decides it would be best to bolt the scenes. She makes an excuse to leave, but Daniel calls her back and suggests they go to his apartment to talk things over.
At the apartment, Daniel tells Nicole how much he values her friendship. He also tells her he needs her in his life. Daniel encourages Nicole they need to talk. He tells her that being on the rebound is tough. She agrees, but thinks this is not about being on the rebound. They both agree there is a sexual attraction and it may develop into more that a friendship. Nicole spills tea all over herself at the remark. Daniel suggests she change into a pair of his sweats and wash her clothes before she leaves. Daniel leaves her to go see Eric.
Daniel brings Eric a housewarming gift. He also wants to be upfront with Eric about his friendship with Nicole.
Back at Daniel's apartment, Melanie knocks on the door to find Nicole answering it dressed only in a bath towel.
