At Daniel's apartment, Daniel watches as Kristen falls apart over losing Brady. She begins to weep and Daniel takes her in his arms to hold her. She cries on his shoulder. Kristen apologizes to Daniel, knowing that he is not her best supporter. Daniel says he knows how she feels. Kristen poo poos Daniel's remark. She does not believe that Daniel has lost Jennifer and that she will make up with him once again. She begins to taunt him about it. Daniel tells her to shut up and leave Jennifer out of this. Kristen sees the photo with the glass next to it. She puts two and two together and realizes he was drowning his sorrows, pining over Jennifer's picture. Daniel gets angry and gets in Kristen's face. He tells her to shut her mouth. She continues to taunt him. He then loses it and kisses her hard to shut her up. Their passion ignites and Daniel takes her into the bedroom and throws her on the bed. He is unaware that Brady has walked into the apartment after the front door was left open.
