At Daniel's office, Daniel and Jennifer hash out their relationship. Daniel tries to reason with Jennifer. He loves her and wants her in his life. Jennifer says that he continues to keep secrets from her and it just proves he does not trust her. Daniel assures her that his conversations with Kristen and JJ have nothing to do with her. Jennifer tells Daniel it is over. She also tells him to stop giving advice to her children. She knows best how to parent them. Jennifer leaves and tears fall from Daniel's eyes.
Later, Daniel is home, drowning his sorrows when a knock comes at his door. It is Kristen. She looks forlorn. She informs Daniel that he was right. Brady will never take her back. She starts to cry and Daniel holds her.
