Daniel and Kristen are kissing frantically in Daniel's bed. They are unaware that Brady has entered the apartment and unintentionally finds them in bed. Brady's face falls and he quietly exits as he entered without disturbing Kristen and Daniel. Daniel and Kristen suddenly stop kissing. Daniel cannot go through with this. Kristen can't either. They both get dressed. They are both uncomfortable realizing that they were both not ready for this. Kristen tells Daniel she is leaving town. She kisses Daniel goodbye and leaves. Daniel picks up his picture of Jennifer and looks mournfully at it.
Later, Daniel is at the hospital. Marlena updates him that John told Brady that Theresa was the one that hit him. Marlena and Eric ask Daniel to keep a look out for Brady. Daniel realizes that Brady now knows that Kristen was telling the truth.
