Brady calls Daniel. He is not satisfied with Kayla's explanation of why John has not been transferred to a long care facility. Daniel asks Brady to come by his place and they will talk. Daniel tries to assure Brady that they are just doing some more tests before they move him. Brady confides in Daniel that he made a mistake. He slept with Theresa. Daniel listens. He hopes Brady does not rekindle that relationship. Brady says no, it was a one time thing. Theresa understands. Brady leaves and Daniel wonders if Marlena has talked to Eric.
Later, Kristen returns to Daniel's apartment to retrieve her lipstick she conveniently left behind. Daniel lets her in and tells her he knows she left her lipstick behind on purpose. Daniel tells her she is too early as there is no word from Marlena or Eric. Daniel suggests for her to leave. Kristen wants to ask Daniel a question. Daniel agrees. Kristen turns the conversation to Theresa. Daniel tries to avoid the answer, but Kristen realizes Daniel hates Theresa. Daniel admits he is not Theresa's biggest fan. The only person he thinks is worse for Brady is Kristen. Daniel wants Kristen to leave. She does, but not before telling Daniel how cold he is. He won't forgive Jennifer and she has the warmest heart in the world. Not only is Daniel cold, but super stupid. Daniel thinks about what Kristen said, and picks up the phone to call Jennifer.
