Daniel is with Kayla reviewing the information on the new medicine to help John. They both think the drug could help John. They need to contact Kristen to get the rest of the formula. Daniel calls Kristen. They agree to meet at Daniel's apartment. Marlena is with Kristen when Daniel called. She heads to Daniel's apartment along with Kristen.
At Daniel's apartment, Daniel, Kayla and Marlena listen to Kristen's conditions for turning over the formula. First of all she says Stefano is upset that Marlena is worried for John, so he has procured this drug research to help John. Marlena is not impressed. Kristen has two conditions. The first one is that no one is to tell Brady. Kristen does not want Brady to get his hopes up if the drug doesn't work. The second request is directed toward Marlena. She must convince Eric not to press charges.
After Marlena leaves, Daniel put Kristen on notice. She will find herself in an even bigger hole than she is now. Before Kristen leaves she puts on lipstick and conveniently leaves the tube behind. Later, Daniel finds it and suspects that Kristen is up to her old tricks again.
