Jennifer daydreams about a romantic reconciliation with Daniel. She goes to his apartment. Daniel is surprised to see her. Their date was at Club TBD. Jennifer wanted to see Parker. Daniel puts the breaks on her enthusiasm. He just wanted to meet to catch up with her. He realizes she has read much more into this date. Daniel tells her that they are just at the beginning of trying to figure things out. All Parker knows is that he loves her. It is probably best if she does not interact with Parker right now. Jennifer gets called into work. When she leaves Daniel doesn't think this was a good idea.
Later, JJ stops by needing advice from Daniel. Daniel listens to JJ's concerns. JJ reveals that Mary Beth keeps making him feel bad about the guy he was before meeting Paige. Daniel tells him that what really counts is the man he is now.
Kayla calls Daniel. She has the lab tests for John. She will bring them to Daniel to review. When Kayla arrives, Daniel reviews John's chances for recovery.
