At Daniel's apartment, Eve is unrelenting on letting JJ see her Paige. Daniel tries to defend JJ, but Eve is adamant she does not want JJ to be with Paige. Daniel tells Eve to go. Eve opens the door to find JJ listening to their conversation in the hallway. She makes it a point to show his dishonesty. Eve leaves in a huff. Daniel gives JJ a key to his apartment. He can use it if he needs a haven from Eve. Daniel warns him to act responsibly around both Parker and Paige. JJ promises. He will not let Daniel down.
At the hospital, Maxine informs Daniel that a strange woman was lurking around John's room. Daniel goes to check on John. Everything with him seems ok. Maxine points to a new picture by John's bedside.
