At the hospital, Daniel meets with new intern Paige. He tells her if Anne gives her any trouble , to come to him. He takes Paige to meet Kayla. Daniel tells her she will be shadowing Kayla to learn how the hospital runs. Paige also learns that Kayla is JJ's aunt.
Eve is with JJ. She harasses him about the photos from the party. She gives him an ultimatum to stay away from Paig.e JJ says no! He calls Daniel to help explain things to Eve. Daniel agrees to meet with them at his apartment. When Eve and JJ arrive, Daniel tries to persuade Eve into understanding that JJ was drugged at the party. Eve wants to speak with Daniel alone. Daniel defends JJ. But he and Eve argue. Daniel thinks that Eve is giving JJ a hard time because of Jennifer. JJ listens at the door.
