At the Salem Police Department, Daniel has just brought Kristen in to stand trial. He is surpised that EJ, Sami, Eric, Marlena and Nicole are also at the station. Marlena tells him they are all there for other issues. Daniel explains what happened to him in St. Louis and how he managed to get Kristien back to Salem. He touches his head and he is bleeding. When he becomes woozy, Abe takes him to the hospital. Before he goes he apologizes to Eric for taking so long to clear his name.
At the hospital, Daniel is bandaged up. Jennifer arrives, hoping she can take him home and help him get better. Daniel shuns her attempts and tells her it is over. When Daniel's doctor comes in, he thinks it best if Jennifer leaves. She leaves reluctantly, but not before stealing a glance back at Daniel.
