At the hospital, Daniel runs into Paige. She thanks him for her graduation card. He thinks she has a bright future ahead of her. He tells her that her mother used to be one of his patients. Paige is surprised, as she knows Dr. Jonas is one of the best. Daniel skirts the issue of why there was a conflict, but he assures her that her mom's new doctor will do a good job. Daniel changes the subject to JJ. He hopes JJ and Paige are having a great summer. Daniel senses that Paige is holding something back. He offers to listen if she wants.
At Daniel's apartment, Victor stops by to pick up a donation check from Daniel for the Gala. Victor asks if Daniel has heard from Brady. Daniel says no and he is worried about Brady. Victor nods and says he is also worried about Daniel. Victor tells Daniel to get over himself and seize happiness with Jennifer. It is staring him right in the face. Thinking about Victor's words, Daniel picks up Jennifer's picture. But the picture gets tossed aside, when Chloe calls, forcing Daniel to expedite her visit with Parker.
