Daniel is at the Bishop's office when Nicole arrives. He is surprised to see her there. He cautiously asks her what she is doing here. She tells him she has come to speak with the Bishop not him. If he is through, she can tell her "facts" to the Bishop to help clear Eric's name. Daniel leaves.
Eric drops by Daniel's office. He thanks him for all he has done for him. Daniel informs Eric of his break up with Jennifer. Eric assures him that he knows first hand that loving someone isn't always enough.
Later, in the Horton Town Square, Daniel and Parker are having ice cream. Aiden spots them and asks if he could talk to Daniel. Daniel agrees. Aiden's conversation turns to raising a son without a mother. Aiden is looking for answers and approaches Daniel on the subject. Daniel tells him it isn't always easy. He then goes to help Parker who is making a mess of his ice cream. Aiden is left standing, observing the father son relationship.
