At Daniel's apartment, Jennifer is beating herself up about not knowing what Liam was doing to her and Daniel. Daniel tells her that Liam was crazy and that she could not have known. Jennifer still feels guilty. She also confesses to Daniel that she lost the beautiful pendant Daniel had given to her. She must go to the Horton cabin to try and find it. Daniel knows that the trip will make Jennifer uneasy, so he offers to go with her.
At the Horton cabin, Jennifer checks the cabin for the necklace while Daniel checks the woods where Liam was killed. He searches, but doesn't find the necklace. Instead he finds a letter that is stuck on a branch. When he looks at it, it is a letter that had obviously been shredded at one point and repasted back together. Daniel's stares when he reads the name on the letter. It reads Dr. Chyka!
