On Smith Island Daniel is immersed in a brawl with Liam. Nicole shoots Liam's gun and misses Liam, but hits Daniel. Liam grabs a tree branch to attack Nicole with. Daniel comes to and grabs Liam's leg knocking him to the ground. Liam is impaled by the tree limb. Hope and Eric arrive and the medics are summoned. They all head to the hospital for evaluation.
Nicole apologizes for shooting Daniel. Daniel thinks Rafe should take her to the firing range for practice. Maggie and Abigail arrive and hugs are exchanged all happy that their loved ones are ok. There are still questions about Nicole's involvement. For now she has her story covered. Theresa arrives with Brady. She apologizes to Jennifer. Jennifer apologizes to her as well. Jennifer will make sure Daniel's name is cleared and his back on surgical duties as soon as possible.
