Daniel is at his apartment. He can't get Nicole's actions off his mind. She has clearly stated she can no longer be friends with him. Daniel senses she is hiding something. He calls her. She is with Eric getting ready to elope. She answers the phone. She will meet with him at his apartment.
Daniel answers the door. JJ arrives. He tells Daniel how grateful he is for his advice. JJ being honest with Paige set things right. Daniel tells him the truth is always the best way to go. Nicole stops by and JJ makes a quick exit. Nicole blasts Daniel for interfering in her happiness. She tells him they can no longer be friends. Daniel is stunned.
At the square, Daniel takes JJ his keys he left at the apartment. He innocently tells Daniel about Nicole's elopement. She was telling a friend in the square. Daniel is again stunned.
Daniel makes his way to Nicole's hotel room. Tension mounts as Nicole opens the door and sees him there.
