Daniel sits looking at the evidence on Dr. Chyka. He flashes back to Nicole's words. She wanted to tell him and yet she never brought it to the surface. Daniel is distraught and disappointed in Nicole. Jennifer arrives at his door and folds into his arms. She updates him on Nick Fallon's murder. Daniel tries to console her, but after the horror Nick caused Melanie, Daniel has little sympathy for the guy. Jennifer and Daniel are thankful for all the time they get to be with each other now. Jennifer leaves to be with Abigail.
Daniel sets off to see Maggie. He realizes she must be upset over Nick's death. Maggie is glad to see him. She blames herself for not helping Nick more. Daniel reminds her that when Nick was released from prison, she was the one who took him in. Maggie admits Nick had enemies. Maggie wants to call Melanie. Daniel tells her if she needs anything to let him know. Maggie tells him she loves him. Daniel hugs her and tells her the same.
Daniel texts Nicole. He wants to see her!
