At Theresa's apartment, Theresa points the finger at Liam for Daniel's troubles. She pleads that she tried to tell Daniel, but was beaten down by his lectures blaming her all the time. Daniel realizes what she has said could be true. Liam was a bit odd and he was a pharmaceutical rep which would put drugs in his possession. Daniel and Eric head to the cabin. Eric and Theresa track down Hope.
When Daniel and Eric arrive at the cabin, they see signs of trouble. They split up to search the island better. Eric finds nothing. Daniel finds Liam holding Nicole and Jennifer at gun point. He attacks Liam and they wrestle to the ground. The gun gets knocked away. Jennifer picks it up, but is not sure of her aim. Nicole takes the gun and shoots. Daniel lies unmoving with blood stained on his shirt.
