At Daniel's apartment, Jennifer wishes Daniel good luck on his hearing. She will be banned from the proceedings but is glad that Brady will be there to support him. Jennifer says goodbye to Parker and Daniel. Daniel hugs Parker and sends him off to get his shoes.
At the hospital, Brady heads the hearing for Daniel. It will decide his future employment with the hospital.
Brady points out that Daniel stopped the operation when he knew he was not in control of his mobility. He also points out Daniel's impeccable record as a doctor for the hospital. When the board reconvenes, they find that they will continue the investigation. Daniel will need to have random drug testing for the next 30 days and he will remain off of surgical rotation.
Meanwhile, Liam has planted drugs in Daniel's apartment. He has hired a woman to act as a cleaning lady from Daniel's service. She tells Jennifer that there are drugs in Daniel's apartment. Jennifer goes to the apartment to check it out. She finds the controlled substance. It is a prescription made out to Jennifer Horton. The woman goes back to Liam who pays her off for her silence.
