At the hospital, Abigail asks Daniel how the hearing went. Daniel wants to tell Jennifer, but she is not in her office. He updates Abigail that if everything goes ok, he will be back in surgery in 30 days. Abigail hugs him. Abigail asks Daniel to give Jennifer a message. She will leave the key to Smith Island on her desk. Daniel says no problem. Daniel thanks Brady for his help and they head to Daniel's apartment to talk strategy.
When Daniel arrives home, Jennifer is acting weird. She tells Daniel she had to pick up the key to Smith Island. Daniel knows she is lying. He gets rid of Brady and confronts Jennifer. Jennifer holds up the prescription bottle with her name on it. Daniel stares. Liam is smiling, as he listens to the surveillance bugging device he has planted in Daniel's apartment.
