Daniel arrives home. He is excited and has news for Nicole. He shows her the hard copy of the list of doctors that had knowledge and access to poison Eric. The list was not destroyed. They still have a chance of helping to exonerate Eric. He asks Nicole if she is in to help him. Nicole is excited now too. She has to find out if she still has a job though at the station. Daniel stares at her. He tells her to take care of that. She says she will get her job back. Nicole comments how important it is to work at the station as their computers have access to a lot of areas and their searches cannot be traced. Daniel goes to change out of his hospital scrubs. When he returns Nicole has greeted Theresa at the door. Nicole leaves to get her job back.
Daniel and Theresa talk. Theresa pulls out her sob card about the night she overdosed. She needs to know what happened so she can move forward in her recovery. She closes in on Daniel and recalls the night they helped Brady. She tells Daniel that they make a great team. Daniel backs away. He politely tells her that neither one of them are in a place to begin a relationship. It is not what Theresa wants to hear. Daniel gets a call and has to leave. He hopes he has been clear with Theresa and escorts her out the door.
At the station, Nicole has gotten her job back. Daniel meets with her and they start looking through the names on Daniel's list. Nicole has found something. She has found the man that tried to kill her and Eric.
