At Nicole's office, Nicole finds the doctor on Daniel's list. She recognizes him as the man who tried to kill her and Eric. She is adamant to make him pay. Nicole finds a tracking ID from his phone and now knows his location. She wants to go after him. Daniel wants her to slow down. It is too dangerous for her to go hunting down Dr Chyka. Nicole laments. They cannot go to the cops. Stefano will be all over them. Daniel senses Nicole is hiding something from the night she was almost killed with Eric. Nicole confesses that Eric told her that he loved her. Daniel warns Nicole that if she exonerates Eric he will be brought back into the church and out of her arms. Nicole needs to do this for Eric regardless of his decision to stay with the church or to be with her.
Daniel won't let Nicole do this by herself. He offers to go with her. Daniel calls Maggie and Parker before he and Nicole depart on thier quest to find Dr Chyka.
