At the hospital, Daniel checks in on both Eric and Nicole. He tries to tell Eric that all his work on his drug testing has been lost, but Eric is on a mission to see Nicole. Daniel checks in on Nicole. She is dressed and ready to leave the hospital. She is on a mission to see Eric. Daniel gets a call from frantic Theresa. He tries to tell her he is working, but Theresa tells him about Brady being drunk at an AA meeting. She followed him to the Horton Square and needs his help. Daniel sets off to find Brady. He finds Brady. He and Theresa both work to get him home.
At the Kiriakis mansion, Brady blames himself for not answering his phone. He could have caught Dr. Chyka. Brady continues to berate himself and in his drunken state, blurts out his admission that he hates his brother. Brady falls asleep. Daniel thanks Theresa and tells her he will stay with Brady until Maggie arrives. He escorts Theresa out and tells her he owes her.
Daniel sinks in the chair and sighs.
