At Daniel's apartment, Daniel informs Roman and Marlena that he cannot find Eric or Nicole. Daniel suggests tracking Eric's phone to try and locate him. He is unaware that Dr. Chyka has ditched the phone in the park. Daniel gets a hit on Eric's phone. Roman, Marlena and Daniel leave to search the designated area. At the park, Daniel locates Eric's phone in the trash. Daniel puts two and two together and realizes Eric got a good look at the phony doctor who is probably behind this. They brainstorm and backtrack Eric's day. They need to contact Brady. Daniel tries numerous times, but Brady fails to pick up.
Roman sends Daniel back to his apartment to meet with a police investigation team. At Daniel's apartment the neighbors complain about the heating system being out of order and the boiler room key is missing. Daniel prays Nicole and Eric are still alive.
