Daniel is close to closing in on the doctor who had access to the drugs that poisoned Eric. He is working in his office when Brady stops by to see him. Brady apologizes to Daniel and thanks him for saving his life. Daniel graciously accepts his apology and reassures Brady that he will not give up on him.
Later, Eric goes to see Daniel. Daniel shares with him the good news. He is confident that once he finds the doctor that concocted the drug cocktail, Eric's name will be exonerated and he will be back at St. Luke's in no time. Eric is tentatively hopeful. As Eric leaves Daniel's office another visitor arrives. It is Dr. Chyka.
