At Daniel's apartment, Daniel tries to get Nicole and Eric to put their differences aside to clear Eric's name. He leaves them alone to figure out if they can work together.
At the hospital, Theresa stops by to speak with Daniel. He tries to dismiss her, but agrees to speak with her when she brings up JJ. Theresa asks Daniel for help in getting JJ to stay away from her. Daniel will see what he can do. Daniel tells her to keep this conversation between them. When Theresa leaves, Daniel calls to meet with JJ.
Daniel meets with JJ at the Brady Pub. He tells him to stay away from Theresa. JJ wants to fix things. Daniel tells him not to worry about fixing things until after his probation hearing. JJ and Daniel are unaware that Jennifer has spotted them calmly talking together.
Daniel returns to the hospital. He has a few minutes to speak with Maggie. She informs him that she is moving in with Jennifer. Daniel tells her he hopes that things work out between her and Victor.
Daniel is working in his office, when Theresa revisits him. Daniel tries to dismiss her again. He tells her is working on the JJ thing. Theresa closes the door. She tells Daniel she needs to know what happened the night she overdosed. Daniel stares.
