At Daniel's office, Theresa pushes Daniel for answers about what happened the night she overdosed. Daniel tells her to focus on the present and forget about the past. Theresa asks Daniel if they had any relations that night. Daniel tells her no. Daniel can see that Theresa is embarrassed knowing she tricked him to come over that night. Theresa calls him a gentleman and she will tell her family the same. Daniel does ask her for a favor. He would like her to be kind to Jennifer, if only by keeping her distance from her. Theresa agrees. She also recognizes that Daniel still loves Jennifer.
At the Horton Town Square, Daniel is with Parker going over their Christmas list. Parker spots Jennifer and goes running to her. Jennifer hugs Parker and wishes both Daniel and Parker a Merry Christmas. Jennifer starts to leave, but turns and confronts Daniel about a question with an answer only he can answer.
