At Daniel's apartment, Maggie stops by with a Christmas surprise for Daniel. Parker rushes in and hugs Daniel. Chloe E-mailed Maggie and said the best Christmas present she could give Parker was to be with his daddy at Christmas. Daniel is overjoyed to see him.
When Nicole comes home, she is overjoyed to see Parker as well. She has a Christmas present for him. When he opens the box, he finds a fishing pole. Parker thanks Nicole. Daniel is touched by her thoughtfulness.
Later, Daniel receives another visitor. It is JJ. He says it was important for him to come see Daniel. Daniel asks him if everything is alright. JJ says he has a Christmas present for Parker. When Parker opens the present it is a toy train, similar to the one that JJ broke of Parkers. Daniel tells JJ Parker loves the gift. He invites him to have one of Parker's colorfully decorated Christmas cookies. JJ declines, he has to go back home. Before he leaves he wishes Daniel a Merry Christmas.
Daniel enjoys his Christmas Eve time with Parker. Parker sits on his lap as Daniel reads to him.
