At the Kiriakis mansion, Daniel and Parker celebrate Christmas with Maggie and Victor. Parker plays with his new toy helicopter. Daniel comments on Brady not being around this holiday. Victor and Maggie are getting ready to leave for the Horton party. Daniel whispers to Maggie if she got it? Maggie hands him a box and instructs him to take very good care of it. Daniel promises he will.
Daniel and Parker are wrapping a present for Nicole. Parker thinks she will like it. When Nicole comes home Daniel asks her to stay and enjoy Christmas with him and Parker. Nicole happily agrees. Daniel brings out the Horton ornaments with their names on them. Parker, Daniel & Melanie all have ornaments. Nicole is invited to help Parker put them on the tree. After they are hung, Daniel prompts Parker to give Nicole her gift. Parker finds the hiding place and gives it to Nicole. It is a star ornament with her name on it. Nicole whispers thank you to Daniel.
Later, Parker rests with his head in Nicole's lap with Daniel beside her. Daniel comments that sometimes when you think the holidays are going to be the hardest, it works out pretty good anyway. Nicole says she knows what he means.
