At the park, Daniel and Parker are getting ready to leave when Abigail sees them. Daniel offers a brief update on Chad's condition. He is doing well after his surgery and a full recovery is in his future. Daniel senses that Abigail has more to discuss with him. He sets Parker down to play and takes her aside to talk. She tells him that she is very disappointed in him for humiliating her mom. It was like a slap in the face. Daniel says he never meant to hurt her. Abigail tells Daniel she can no longer babysit for Parker and walks away disenchanted with the noble doctor.
Nicole returns to Daniel's apartment. She plans to move to the Salem Inn. Daniel tells her to stay. She is worried that his reputation may be even more tarnished if she stays. Daniel says he doesn't give a darn. Nicole stays. Daniel & Nicole play Candyland with Parker.
