Daniel and Nicole grow closer as their reputations are both being misjudged by their friends and colleagues. Daniel invites Nicole for some hot chocolate therapy with him and Parker. Nicole accepts. At the Horton Square, Daniel is shunned by a co-worker. He tells Nicole it doesn't matter, but he does worry about what Parker will think about him when he grows up. Nicole assures Daniel that Parker will know him as someone who doesn't turn his back on his friends. Daniel thanks Nicole. He needed to hear that. JJ has Daniel on his mind. He flashes back to how Daniel helped. He opens his phone to call Daniel.
Back at the apartment, Parker calls out Jennifer's name. Daniel explains that Jennifer will not be coming over tonight. Parker asks "why"?
