At the hospital, Daniel checks in on Theresa. Her memory is still blurred regarding the night she overdosed. Daniel asks her to promise to contact him if she remembers anything. He tells her it is important. Daniel also informs her there are rumors going around the hospital about him and her. Theresa apologizes if she has done anything to hurt him. Daniel tells her to get some rest.
At the park, Daniel is sitting with Parker. Anne passes by. She doesn't miss an opportunity to harass Daniel. She makes the mistake of doing it in front of Parker. Daniel stands up and grabs her arm to pull her away for a quick conversation out of Parker's earshot. He tells her to be very careful what she says in front of his son. Daniel will teach his son not to listen to people who gossip. Anne fires back that one day his son will know what kind of a man he really is. Anne walks away. Daniel looks back at Parker sitting on the bench and realizes that the gossip could very well hurt his son.
