Daniel approaches Jennifer at the hospital to apologize for her having to be at his hearing. Jennifer turns sour and tells him she feels nothing but disdain for him and walks away.
Theresa enters, unaware that Jennifer is in earshot range. She tells Daniel she needs to talk to him about the night she overdosed. She tells Daniel that she doesn't remember anything about that night and would like Maggie's help in getting into an AA program. Anne interrupts and berates Daniel for talking with Theresa before his hearing.
Daniel takes Parker dressed as a turkey to the Thanksgiving party. He is unaware that JJ and Jennifer are there. JJ steals a moment to talk to Daniel. Daniel informs him that Theresa remembers nothing about the overdose night. Daniel cuts the conversation short and goes to Parker. Jennifer corners JJ about talking with Daniel. She doesn't want him to do anything to violate his probation. JJ decides
to leave the party. Daniel decides he should leave with Parker too. But, the kids want him to stay. Daniel looks at Jennifer and decides to leave the uncomfortable situation. Theo points out that Jennifer looked sad when Daniel and Parker left.
