At the hospital, Daniel spies JJ talking with Jennifer. When JJ leaves, Jennifer pulls Daniel aside and asks him to reach out to Eric. Daniel agrees. Jennifer admits she was taken in by Kristen. Daniel replies that sometimes you think you know a person to find out you really don't. When Jennifer leaves, JJ shows up. Daniel nods to him to follow him so they can talk. When they are alone, Daniel criticizes him for contacting him in a public place. Daniel finds out that JJ visited Theresa last night. Daniel gets aggravated and warns JJ that if the judge finds out he is with someone and drugs were involved, JJ will go straight to jail. Daniel doesn't want that for JJ and it would kill his mother.
Daniel checks on Rafe. Rafe has heard the gossip in the hospital and asks if Daniel is ok. Daniel brushes it off and says he will be just fine.
Later, Jennifer and Daniel cross paths in the hospital. Daniel stops, looks at Jennifer, thinks twice about approaching her. He instead shakes his head and walks away.
