At the hospital, Daniel is at Theresa's bedside. He tells her she has overdosed. He asks her if she remembers anything from last night. Theresa says no. Daniel asks her to promise him something. Because it is a sensitive situation, he asks her to speak with him first if she remembers anything. Theresa agrees. When Daniel leaves Theresa's room he is confronted by Anne. She makes several accusations and implies his moral behavior is detrimental to the hospital. Maxine runs interference, but Anne is relentless in splattering harsh words at Daniel. Daniel has enough and tells her to get a life, go to hell and get out of his face. Daniel decides to leave the hospital early. Before he goes, he crosses paths with Jennifer. She ignores him completely. Daniel leaves.
When Daniel arrives home, he finds a very upset Nicole at his door. Daniel hugs her. Daniel tries to get Nicole to explain why she is so upset, but Nicole cannot get the words out right now. She asks to lie down for a bit and would like to discuss it later. Daniel agrees.
Nicole dreams that Eric and Hope come into Daniel's apartment and arrest her for raping Eric. The dream has left Nicole very unsettled. She gets up and stands in the doorway. She overhears JJ admitting that Daniel covered up for him when Teresa overdosed last night.
