At the hospital, Jennifer questions Daniel about being with Theresa. Daniel protects JJ and claims he was just there. He replays Theresa's voice mail of her asking him to come over. Hope figures out that Manny boy was really Danny boy. Jennifer is adamant that this does not make sense. Anne overhears the conversation and is quick to jump at Daniel, insinuating that he provided the sex drug Theresa overdosed on. He tells her to order a blood test on him and then he tells her to go to hell.
Frustrated, Daniel goes to his office. When he looks up from his desk he sees JJ lurking in the shadows. He tells him to leave so that he is not connected with Theresa's drug use or he will go back to prison. JJ goes to leave. Daniel stops him an asks him if he is holding drugs. JJ looks down. Daniel tells him he needs to lose them . A knock comes at the door. It is Jennifer wanting an explanation. JJ hides in the bathroom. Daniel dismisses Jennifer telling her he has to check on Theresa. Jennifer doesn't give up and follows him. She blasts him in front of Hope and Maggie at the nurses station. She is disappointed that of all the people he could date at the hospital...he would zero in on Theresa. Jennifer is convinced he did it to spite her.
At Theresa's bedside, the nurse on duty tells Daniel Theresa is expected to wake up in the morning. Daniel wants to be notified the minute that happens. The nurse smugly tells him "I am sure you do Doctor". Daniel looks down at Theresa reflecting on all the trouble she has caused. Back at the nurses station Hope and Maggie start questioning Daniel. Daniel bluntly tells them it is none of their business and they need to stay out of it.
