Daniel is getting Parker ready for Chloe to pick up. Maggie arrives and can't wait to tell him the good news about JJ. Daniel tells her Justin has already updated him. Maggie presses Daniel to go with her to see Jennifer and support her. Daniel declines. He says it would only make things worse for Jennifer. Maggie hates that JJ is keeping Daniel and Jennifer apart. Maggie knows that Jennifer will do her best with JJ. Daniel agrees. He picks up Parker and tells her you never give up on your kids.
Daniel is straightening up Parker's toys and finds his favorite toy trains. The sight of it triggers an idea to form about how he can reach out to help JJ. He grabs his coat and heads out.
He finds JJ in the Horton Town Square. JJ tells him they have nothing to discuss and turns to walk away. But,Daniel calls him back asking "Even if one thing could change everything"? JJ pauses.
