Hope stops by Daniel's apartment to discuss Jennifer and JJ. JJ is in a world of trouble and he did not draw a good judge for his arraingment. Hope warns Daniel that if this case goes to trial, he may be called as a witness for the prosecution against JJ. This leaves Daniel unsettled.
At the hospital, Theresa tries to imply she is having a relationship with Daniel, when she returns his lost bracelet to him. Daniel thanks her, but quickly dismisses her. Daniel leaves his keys behind. Theresa takes them and makes a key to his apartment before they get returned.
Daniel is in his office when the misplaced keys are returned by a nurse. Daniel decides to open the flash drive. He gets interrupted when Kristen arrives. She thanks Daniel for saving Chad's life. She also tells him he will be their best man as they are getting married shortly. She reminds him that Jennifer will be her maid of honor as well. The conversation turns to her fertility. Daniel tries to encourage her. He uses Melanie and Parker as examples of how things can just have a way of happening.
