Daniel sets off to find JJ. He comes across Rory sleeping on a bench. Rory gives Daniel an update on JJ. Daniel rushes to the town square. When he finds JJ, JJ is out of control. Daniel tackles him and holds him down until the police arrive.
At the police station, JJ is frantic. He accuses everyone of keeping the truth from him. He is especially angry at Daniel. Daniel listens silently as JJ rants. Jennifer, Abigail, Justin, Adrienne and Kayla all witness the young man's tirade. JJ approaches Kayla and apologizes to her for what his father did to her years ago when he raped her. The news of this hits Daniel and he understands now why Kayla was so upset. Daniel watches silently as JJ's family watches him being led away to spend the night in jail.
