Daniel and Jennifer are passionately kissing at the Kiriakis mansion. Jennifer doesn't have to work until the afternoon. Daniel doesn't either! They rush to Jennifer's house for some time alone. Daniel and Jenifer make love. Daniel tells Jennifer he missed her. He also asks her what changed. Jennifer tells Daniel she loves him and that she didn't want to risk losing him again.
At the hospital Daniel sees Jennifer smiling as she talks to Maxine. Daniel is unaware that they are smiling because Jennifer has just won a PR award. Daniel assumes Jennifer has told Maxine about reuniting with Daniel. When Jennifer leaves, Daniel happily saunters up to Maxine and asks her if she has heard the good news. Maxine says yes. She is happy it was Jennifer and not the barracuda from St. Marys. Daniel then realizes Maxine and he are not talking about the same things.
