At Mason's office, Daniel and Eric try to coax Kristen out from behind the locked door. When they do open the door, Kristen has vanished, escaping from the second floor window. Mason says she has ruined all his notes on Eric's case.
Nicole visits Daniel and warns him of JJ's action. She suspects him of drugs. She encourages Daniel to help Jennifer with JJ. Daniel still feels it is Jennifer's decision and for him to keep his distance.
Later, after Nicole leaves, Daniel answers the door to Jennifer. He tells her Maggie is in the kitchen. Jennifer says she has come to see him. When Daniel sarcastically asks why?...Jennifer kisses him. Daniel kisses her back!
