At the hospital, Daniel balks at working with Jennifer until Anne starts berating Jennifer for not doing her job. Daniel is aggravated by the repercussions and finesses the blame to be put on him. He agrees to the photo shoot.
The photo shoot is at Daniel's apartment. Shots with Daniel and Parker are taken. Later, Daniel watches how sweet Jennifer is with Parker. He also reads her article for the magazine. He is moved by what she has written. It is also clear to him that the woman who wrote the article loves him. Daniel tells her that this is proof that she loves him and cares for him. He asks her to accompany him to the gala. She agrees. They kiss, but panic sets in when they realize JJ has been watching from the doorway.
