At the hospital, Daniel is kissing Jennifer when they hear JJ outside their door. Jennifer quickly asks Daniel to hide. Daniel takes offense to the command and tells her again, he does not want to sneak around. After checking the door, Jennifer finds that JJ is not there. Jennifer again pleads to Daniel to keep their relationship going forward a secret. Daniel fumes. Jennifer knows he is upset. Instead, she gives him an envelope she was going to mail regarding his magazine photo shoot. He takes it an sarcastically tells Jennifer "I guess this concludes our business... good day Ms Horton" and walks out. On his way through to the elevator, Daniel drops the envelope. Theresa picks it up.
Later, at Daniel's apartment, Theresa shows up with the envelope. Daniel is surprised to see her. Theresa barges in and makes herself comfortable. She comments on no ring on his finger and finds out he is not married. She pushes Daniel for a date, but Daniel makes it clear that that is not going to happen. He escorts her out and reminds her to keep their contact limited to the hospital.
At the rectory, Daniel vents to Fr. Eric that JJ may tear him and Jennifer apart forever.
Daniel then turns the discussion to Eric's mysterious illness. Daniel asks him if there is anything he can recall about that night. Eric replies, he has a really bad feeling of dread about that night, but cannot put specifics to his thoughts.
