At Daniel's apartment , he walks in on Kristen hovering over Eric's medical file. Daniel reads her the riot act about privacy. Kristen pleads that she was just looking at the note on the desk from Jennifer. Again Daniel tells her that she has stepped over the line reading his personal correspondence. He again tells her he is working and asks her to leave. As she leaves, Maggie arrives to pick up Parker.
Maggie receives a lecture from Daniel as well regarding confidentiality and interfering . He is referring to her attempt to help with Jennifer and resulting in it hurting the situation even more. Maggie apologizes, but she wants Daniel to talk to Jen. At the rectory, Eric has offered the same advice to Jen. Daniel contemplates calling Jennifer, but then puts the phone down. He realizes he has to respect Jennifer's wishes.
Daniel double checks Eric's lab results with his colleague. The colleague assures him that the only drugs showing in Eric's system were what Daniel administered to Eric at the hospital. Daniel is still not convinced that Eric was not poisoned. He vows not to give up.
