At Daniel's apartment, he reviews Eric's lab results. He discovers an abnormality and contacts toxicologist Kevin to review his findings. He believes it may lead to finding out what is making Eric so sick. Daniel's pen is not working. He goes to the drawer to get another, and finds a note from Jennifer. He takes it back to the table he was working at. A knock comes at his door. It is Kristen. Kristen found out Daniel was working from home. She is visiting him on the premise of being concerned over his break up with Jennifer. But, in reality she is on a mission to get a copy of Eric's lab work. Daniel is suspicious when she arrives and is quick to ask her to leave. Kristen will not be dismissed and wields her way to stay.
When Parker calls out from the bedroom, Kristen asks to see him. Daniel leaves the room to tend to Parker. Kristen photographs Eric's medical file that Daniel was working on before Kristen arrived. When Daniel comes into the room, he finds Kristen hoovering over the file. And asks her, what the hell she is doing.
