At the hospital, Daniel receives Fr. Eric's test results. He hopes they will provide him with the answers he needs to help Eric. Meanwhile, Eric is having another shaking attack at the rectory. Daniel leaves the hospital to check on him. Sami is there. She is still irritated that Dr. Jonas threw her out of Rafe's room. She pushes Daniel for information about Eric. Eric tells her to back off and then escorts her out of his office. Daniel takes more blood samples to evaluate.
Eric opens his spiritual guidance side and offers to listen to Daniel's situation with his break up with Jennifer. Daniel feels like he has to face facts, even though he thought he and Jennifer could make it through anything. Fr. Eric tells him sometimes you have to just believe in the other person and have faith.
Later, at home, Daniel reviews Eric's lab results. He finds something that causes him to say "What the hell"...surprised by a finding in the file.
