At the hospital, Daniel confronts Jennifer about lying to Chloe. Jennifer admits she did lie. Daniel gets called away to Parker. He will discuss this with Jen later.
In Parker's room, Kayla advises Daniel and Chloe that she would like to keep Parker there overnight to insure his fever is gone. Chloe wants to stay with Parker. Daniel will stay also.
Daniel pulls Jennifer into a quiet space. He gives her a chance to explain herself. Jennifer apologizes to Daniel, but admits she is not sorry for what she did. Daniel is disappointed that Jennifer did not trust in him to handle things with Chloe. Jennifer berates Daniel for being "too trusting" and brings up his past with Nicole. Things are left unresolved. Daniel returns to Parker's room. He tells him his Daddy will always be there for him.
Jennifer calls the hospital and leaves a message for Daniel apologizing for what has happened. Chloe intercepts the note and rips it up.
