Daniel is agonizing about the information he found out about Nicole. He needs to find her and speak with her immediately. He enlists Rafe's help to locate her. Rafe is adamant to find out what is going on, but, Daniel does not tell him. Rafe agrees to help, but with the stipulation that at some point Daniel will level with him. Daniel anxiously paces at the apartment, as he waits for Nicole to come home. He tries her cell phone. He has a bad connection and hears two women arguing. He realizes that Nicole has gone to see Jennifer. Daniel rushes out the door. When he arrives he finds Nicole and Jennifer embroiled in a heated argument. He warns Nicole to stop. He tells Nicole they need to leave so he can speak with her privately. She refuses. When she clamors on about Jennifer killing her baby, Daniel stops her. He tells her he knows the truth. Her baby was dead before the accident. Nicole, caught in a lie, begins to weep.
